Nick Biela and James Waller’s London-based Blood Brother label has always been keen to adapting to today’s ever-evolving contemporary styles. Last season, they focused on the idea of the “colony” and how the concept of togetherness applies to fashion as a whole. Moving over to the fall and winter, we now see a logically calculated transition of the designs — the brand elevates the colors to match the seasons, but also kept the prints strong in order to add more pop in terms of graphics. We see an homage to retro technology here as some of the art shown for the range include old-school cellphones and retro televisions. Overall, the brand’s modern approach is right on par with the important trends we’ll all be seeing com winter time.
