Nike Brings the "Wheat" Look to the Air Max BW

The underrated pair of Air Maxes joins the Swoosh-made “Wheat” fray.

Over the past couple of years, Nike has given the work boot-inspired “Wheat” treatment to everything from the Air Foamposite One, mid- and high-top Air Force 1s, Air Trainer 1, Air Max 1, and Air Max 90 to the LeBron 12, Free Ace Leather, Air Force One Elite and Dunk CMFT SneakerBoot. Now the Swoosh is revisiting the rugged look yet again, this time applying it to the underrated Air Max BW. As you might expect, the tan-colored “Wheat” hue covers the vast majority of the upper, which, in this case, combines leather, suede and canvas. Dark brown accents provide a bit of contrast while a white midsole and gum rubber outsole complete the package along with matching rope laces.

Air Max fans can find the kicks now at spots like Berlin’s Overkill.
