Paul Pierce Announces Retirement After Upcoming NBA Season

“The Truth” has one more season left in the tank.

The retirement news just keeps unfolding. Following the announcements of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce has also decided to hang up his jersey. However before Pierce will enter the retirement family, he confirms that he has one more season left in him and will remain with the Los Angeles Clippers before waving goodbye to the NBA in 2017. Paul Pierce, aka “The Truth,” revealed the news in writing via The Player’s Tribune, while reminiscing about his career, how he came to the decision, and more in the above video.

Currently, Paul Pierce’s career stat line reads: 20 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 3.6 apg, along with one NBA Championship and NBA Finals MVP. Will it be enough to propel “The Truth” into the Hall of Fame?
