This Burger Cafe From Japan Is Holding a Special Presidential Burger Election
Which candidate will you vote for?
J.S. BURGERS CAFE, the restaurant branch of fashion retailer Journal Standard, just recently revealed it will be holding a ”Presidential Burger Election” to coincide with the United State’s upcoming final decision to elect the next “Leader of the Free World.” The eatery, which has numerous locations in Japan, already made noise with its Ghostbusters-themed burger and monstrous milkshakes. Now it will be offering two new burger items on the menu to represent Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s hometowns.
The “Mr. Burger,” representing Trump and New York is made up of a dry-aged beef patty, pastrami, Russian dressing and classic coleslaw. The “Mrs. Burger,” which represents Hillary Clinton and Chicago is inspired by the city’s popular Chicago-style hot dog. It’s made with dry-aged beef, a grilled hot dog, fresh pickles, mustard, and celery salt all stuffed between poppy seed buns.
The burgers will be made available to the public from October 7 until November 8. Customers will also be able to vote for their favorite with a chance to win tickets to free burgers in the upcoming new year. The winning burger will be announced on December 26. Both menu items are priced at around 1,380 yen + tax, about $14 USD. Visit J.S. BURGERS CAFE to find out its official locations.
