Thanks to Bill Bowerman’s stint in the military,
This time around, the boot gets some subtle tweaks to differentiate it from past editions. While the design’s rugged Free-inspired sole unit remains intact (in this case as a stark white contrast), the upper has been reworked a bit, ditching its usual construction in favor of more comfortable unstructured canvas while premium leather on the tongue gives a premium edge. Even the branding badges are new while the addition of pull tabs at the heel makes slipping the kicks on and off a bit easier.
Expect both black and “Golden Beige” colorways of the boot to turn up at NSW spots like Tokyo’s atmos in the coming weeks.
