adidas Gives Dennis Busenitz's Signature Kicks a Scuff- & Weather-Resistant Upgrade
Coated canvas meets leather and suede.

The Pure Boost editions of the silhouette may have stolen the OG’s thunder a bit, but Dennis Busenitz’s signature kicks are still arguably the most popular in adidas’ skateboarding lineup. Thankfully, adi is fully aware of their popularity, offering up clean white colorways of the kicks for summer after dropping the likes of a German-made release, a GORE-TEX-covered pair and a mid-top transformation in 2015. Here, the “Classified” take on the silhouette makes a comeback, getting a clean “Auburn” look ahead of the transition into fall. Taking its name from the deep shade of red that decorates the likes of the shoe’s heel counter and branding, the “Auburn” look is complemented by a black-dominated upper — the highlight of which is rugged coated canvas along the collar and quarter panels.
Finished with a tried-and-true gum rubber outsole, the Busenitz Classified “Auburn” is available now from adi skate stockists like Rock City Kicks for $95 USD per pair.
