Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Pranks the Public With the adidas Yeezy Boost 1150
Featuring “canvasized leather” and a cell phone signal amplifier built-in.
Prankster Jimmy Kimmel hit the streets of LA to give a sneak peek of the unreleased “Yeezy Boost 1150” to unsuspecting strangers last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The shoe, which is actually a Chinese manufactured sneaker bought off eBay for $13.20 USD, tricked pedestrians and seeming fans of Kanye West into thinking they’re the latest iteration of the Yeezy footwear line. According to the reporter, the 1150 sports a special leather “made to feel like canvas,” handpicked children to construct the shoe, and even a cellphone signal booster feature of sorts that apparently worked well. Targets even stated how much they’d be willing to pay; no price is too high for these folks.
Take a look at the hilarious video above.
