Nike Is Bringing Back "Volt" Flyknit Racers
Subtle changes to 2012’s original.
Nike’s “Volt” and “Total Orange” colorways were two of the most popular for the original Flyknit Racer and now, after revisiting 2012’s orange look back in June, NSW is taking on its bold “Volt” classic. Like the orange pair, these differ ever so slightly from the OG look four years ago, opting for a heathered look across the Flyknit upper while ditching the dark quarter panel color-blocking that hit the medial sides. Like the original, however, contrasting Swooshes on the medial and lateral sides provide a little asymmetrical touch.
If you missed out on the OG release or have just been hankering for a re-up, Nike’s 2016’s rendition of the “Volt” Flyknit Racer will make its way to NSW store shelves next month.
