Nike Football Launches "The Switch" Starring Cristiano Ronaldo

Getting smothered by commercial videos is a pain, but Nike’s latest video called “The Switch” shouldn’t even be called an advert. Rather, the six-minute film is a work of pure genius. Entwining the start of the Euro 2016 football championships and intrinsic to the brand’s ongoing Spark Brilliance campaign, the short video spotlights Cristiano Ronaldo and a handful of footballers. The clip injects the wacky hijinks of body swap movies in which CR7 and a young English ball player switch bodies — an overused crux, but nonetheless worth the watch.
