For Netflix‘s upcoming spooky series, the ever steadfast streaming service just released its first trailer for Stranger Things. This new horror drama takes place in a small U.S. town and boasts a ton of supernatural thrills, as the plot focuses on a young boy who suddenly goes missing and a community search hunt that ensues. The two-minute teaser also hints at covert government experiments and a slew of eerie happenings — like the missing boy finding himself encased in a massive glass tube. There is definitely some Super 8 and E.T. vibes going on here.
The eight-episode series will star Winona Ryder and will be available on Netflix this July 15.
