Concepts Takes It Back to 1996 With New NHL Jersey Tanks
Concepts links up with Mitchell & Ness for a summery take on some 20-year-old hockey sweaters.

Back in 2014, Concepts paid homage to its hometown hockey favorites, transforming the black Boston Bruins jersey into a basketball-style tank perfect for summer. The renowned boutique then followed that up with corresponding designs for each of the NHL’s original six last summer and now have done the same for Summer 2016, this time taking it back two decades with four brand new looks. Once again crafted in conjunction with Mitchell & Ness, this summer’s collection of NHL tanks is an appropriate throwback to 1996, tapping the now defunct Whalers and iconic Mighty Ducks looks alongside that year’s Eastern Conference All-Star sweater.
Rounded out by the Philadelphia Flyers and capped off with woven branded labels, the custom collection of mesh tanks is due out in-store and online this Saturday, June 11.
