This Camera Accepts Any Film Format and Any Lens Imaginable
Creative possibilities seem boundless.

Santa Barbara California tech company Mercury Works claims to have created “the world’s first universal camera.” The company’s Modular Mercury System is a glorious shooting device that apparently can be adjusted to fit a wide array of formats: instant film, medium format, digital full-frame, and large format (4×5) on its back portion. The Mercury will also be able to house almost any lens imaginable on its front section. Needless to say, the creative possibilities for any type of shooter seem boundless.
The device is currently on Kickstarter with a somewhat excessive goal of $50,000 USD, though, its creators are already saying that they have a fully-functioning prototype of the device. Interested parties can purchase their starter kit which features a standard medium format version for $120 USD while more exclusive packages go for $375 USD and up.
