Gucci Launches a DIY Customization Parlor in Milan
Leave your mark on your new luxury purchase.
The latest marker of Gucci’s upswing under the creative leadership of Alessandro Michele sees the opening of a lush parlor in the Florentine brand’s Via Montenapoleone flagship store in Milan dedicated to the customization of its current seasonal range. Inspired by the DIY aesthetic of the British punk movement, customers can have everything from the collars and cuffs of Gucci’s blazers and tuxedos embroidered with their symbols or monograms, to more ambitious appliqué and intricate embroidery options of snakes, tigers, flowers and bees available for the label’s silk bombers, denim jackets and leather biker jackets.
