ASICS is no stranger to Okayama Denim, having teamed up with the Japanese denim purveyor last year on a pack of GEL-Lyte IIIs before following it up with a Colorado Eighty-Five from the Onitsuka Tiger imprint. Now the two are back at it in 2016, following the “Blush” pack’s GEL-Sight with a denim-clad take on the retro silhouette. More in line with the look of the Colorado Eighty-Five than the aforementioned GEL-Lyte IIIs, the new release opts for a deep blue denim upper, coupling the construction with black leather applications and matching laces as selvedge-inspired accents are incorporated in the form of off-white contrasts and a dash of bright red on the outsole.

The jeans-meet-sneakers offering is available now at Tokyo’s atmos while supplies last.
