Hideo Kojima Reunites With Norman Reedus for 'Death Stranding'
The old ‘Silent Hills’ buddies join forces for the first offering from Kojima Productions.
Remember the awesome-looking Silent Hills? Sadly, that game is no more given Hideo Kojima’s split from Konami, but thankfully Kojima and Norman Reedus — who was set to star in that survival-horror game — have reunited for the very first project from Kojima Productions. Dubbed Death Stranding, the game once again features The Walking Dead star/Boondock Saint and was teased yesterday at Sony’s E3 presser with an appropriately strange trailer. Three-and-a-half-minutes in length, the cinematic teaser sees Reedus’s character awakening on a beach in handcuffs amongst a bunch of dead sea creatures and a baby — and that’s not even the weirdest part.
Info — including any kind of release timeline — remains largely under wraps, so stay tuned for more regarding the PlayStation 4-exclusive.
