OMEGA Gives the Seamaster Planet Ocean a "Deep Black" Makeover
A Master Chronometer packed full of all of OMEGA’s latest innovations.

OMEGA looks to the depths of the oceans for its latest timepiece, introducing a special “Deep Black” edition of its renowned Seamaster Planet Ocean. Measuring 45.5 mm, the brand new watch combines the likes of a GMT model and diving watch, coupling a matte black casebody — crafted from a single block of ceramic — with a rubber/ceramic blend on the unique unidirectional bezel as trademarked Liquidmetal coats the majority of the diving scale. A GMT ring has also been added to the dial while other details include Arabic numerals, brushed hands and indexes crafted from 18K white gold with white Super-LumiNova coating, and OMEGA’s first-ever oriented caseback with its new and patented ceramic Naiad Lock.
Water-resistant to 60 bar, driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906 (which is magnetic-resistant up to 15,000 gauss and features a 60-hour power reserve), and METAS-certified, the “Deep Black” Seamaster Planet Ocean is set to hit dealers this October.
