ASICS offers a new iteration of the hallmark GEL-Lyte III this season, sourcing one of the prized Japanese textiles for a new two-part collection. The “Okayama Denim” pack, as the name suggests, finds two versions of the GEL-Lyte III decked out with a base layer of super-premium denim from Okayama. The first version finds the denim meticulously stitched with tonal contrasts – forming a kind of exposed camouflage effect – while a second version masks that same pattern in rich black leather paneling at the forefoot and sides. Both of these handsome options are sure to not only endure, but prosper from wear and tear – a charming feature for the classic silhouette.
