The Air Jordan 2 Low Gets a Tar Heels-Inspired Makeover
Jordan Brand pays homage to MJ’s alma mater.
Jordan Brand already paid homage to the city where MJ spent the majority of his playing career and now the Nike imprint is back with yet another low-top Air Jordan 2 — one that takes it back to His Airness’s college days. Following the Air Jordan 2 Low “Chicago,” the latest version of the silhouette adopts the ubiquitous Chapel Hill aesthetic, in this coupling “University Blue” with a predominately white tumbled leather upper and navy accents throughout.
Differing ever so slightly from 2004’s drop, 2016’s iteration of the Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC” is due out June 11 for $160 USD.
