UNITED ARROWS Gives the ZDA Marathon a Makeover
Japan meets Slovakia.

UNITED ARROWS and its imprints continually drop some of the cleanest collabs around, especially when it comes to footwear — just check out their recent adidas Tobaccos and New Balance 996s for proof. Now the Japanese staple is back with its latest sneaker, this time teaming up with an unlikely partner: longtime Slovakian shoe label ZDA. The Eastern European brand has been dropping its signature Marathon since the country’s Czechoslovakian days as a Soviet satellite, so the old school silhouette is an apt inclusion for the collaborative endeavor. Still crafted in Slovakia, UNITED ARROWS’ takes on the kicks come draped in suede and mesh as clean grey and white colorways come with a logo-free upper.
Finished with co-branded footbeds, the 2400UA take on the Marathon can be found now at UNITED ARROWS stores for ¥18,500 JPY (approximately $165 USD) per pair.
