New Balance Taps UNITED ARROWS to Give the 996 a Makeover
White mesh and tan suede combine with REVlite cushioning.
New Balance’s REVlite-cushioned 996 has been the canvas for some of the Boston-based brand’s best make-ups over the past year, including monochromatic black and tan affairs, as well as last year’s “Heritage Grey” drop and collaborative endeavors alongside both WHIZ LIMITED and mita. Now the MRL996 is back for yet another collaboration — this time alongside UNITED ARROWS. Perhaps the cleanest take on the silhouette yet, the limited edition design comes with white mesh and tan suede construction while employing a matching REVlite sole unit and black rubber outsole.
