Legendary Graffiti Artist RISK on His Journey in Spray Paint

And what it was like to work with Ice Cube and Michael Jackson.

Now hailed as one of the greats of graffiti painting, RISK, born Kelly Graval, was only a rebellious Jewish kid when he first began his journey into street art due to a chance encounter with a graffiti artist from New York. He would go on to furthering the art in many ways, founding the WCA crew and pioneering the painting of freight trains, planes, and freeway overpasses, as well as taking graffiti from the streets into art galleries. Other highlights of his career also include painting sets for the likes of Michael Jackson, Ice Cube, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Here in the latest episode of HavocTV‘s Between the Lines series, RISK recounts his journey in street art so far, as well as giving his thoughts on the future of the art world.
