Reebok Are Finally Releasing the Hi-Top Alien Stompers

As far as cinematic sneakers go, the Nike Air MAG gets a lot of shine, but the Swoosh’s futuristic silhouette may soon have some competition in the Reebok Alien Stomper. The sneakers—worn by Sigourney Weaver in the 1986 classic Aliens and designed specifically for the film by the sneaker company—are finally hitting retail on April 26, as part of the Alien Day festivities (think of it as James Cameron’s version of May the Fourth). Reebok has released a limited edition mid-top iteration of the sneaker, but 2016 marks the first time that a high-top replica will hit the market. There is no pricing info for the shoes as yet, but these will be sure to fetch a pretty penny on the grey market, especially considering their exclusivity and place in film history.
