To mix all three elements of aesthetics, performance and comfort is no easy task — the trifecta that many car manufacturers strive to acquire. Enter the 2016 Audi TTS, now in its third generation. On paper, the TTS had a lot to offer: driving modes to accommodate both urban streets and rural back roads allowed for diverse driving experiences; technological advances meant the driver was up to date with gadgets and toys; and performance numbers to challenge the rivals seemed to all come together well, but it’s never enough — a test drive is the true deciding factor.
With that, Audi provided us the opportunity to give its latest hot-coupe a thorough test. While it certainly had its drawbacks and unpleasant surprises, the 2016 TTS proved to be a viable option should you be looking for the holy grail of performance-oriented luxury sports driving.
