McLaren Unveils the Track-Ready 570S GT4
McLaren takes the wraps off of its latest addition to the Sports Series.

After making its debut nearly a year ago, McLaren’s 570S is ready for the track thanks to the British manufacturer’s upcoming GT4 edition of the Sports Series entry. Built around the lightweight carbon fiber MonoCell II chassis, the track-ready take on the vehicle boasts a newly developed aerodynamic package highlighted by a taller rear wing and more prominent splitter (for added downforce on the rear and front axles, respectively), as well as a bevy of carbon fiber panels throughout. The 570S’s twin-turbo V8 returns here (albeit in slightly modified, race-tailored form) while magnesium alloy wheels are clad in slick Pirellis.
The 570S GT4 will make its debut at the Brands Hatch circuit during the British GT Championship come April 16 while customer deliveries are currently on track for 2017. The vehicle starts at £159,900 GBP (approximately $226,400 USD).
Check out the vehicle above and stay tuned for McLaren’s unveiling of the 570S Sprint — yet another track-ready 570S, but one “unrestricted by any racing regulations.”
