Google's Creative Lab Is Looking for Five New Team Members
Not your usual job opportunity — or application.

Google wants you to join its Creative Lab for a one-year paid program called The Five. The team members – dubbed “Fivers” – are responsible for projects both big and small, and “ideally, first of [their] kind” within Google, working “on things that matter.” Past Fivers have come from many walks of life, including writers, designers, filmmakers and developers “with the occasional wild card!”
In classic Google fashion, the job application process is anything but straightforward: the Creative Lab 5 site is your application form, with applicants encouraged to “write, design, code, move, and – with any luck — break it.” Naturally, the site was designed by current Fivers. There are only five slots for new team-members, so competition will be fierce.
