Watch the 'Suicide Squad' Trailer Recreated With DC Animated Universe Characters
The supervillain black ops squad edited with a cartoon trailer.
Last month the official trailer for Suicide Squad dropped, and now, student and DC fan Reuven White has recreated the trailer with scenes from the DC Animated Universe. Cartoon clips from shows like Batman: The Animated Series are paired with the trailer’s original audio and almost match frame-for-frame, especially scenes taken from the “Task Force X” episode from the second season of Justice League Unlimited – the inspiration for the highly-anticipated movie about the covert black ops team of convicted supervillains who are given the task of stealing from the Justice League headquarters. In addition to featuring familiar faces like The Joker and Harley Quinn, note that the video replaces Enchantress (alter ego June Moon) with sorceress Tala due to her absence in the animated shows.
