Mark McNairy Puts Us on Game With His Style Guide, 'F**K IVY AND EVERYTHING ELSE'
Word of wisdom from the New Amsterdam head honcho.

Mark McNairy is a man of many hats: designer at his eponymous New Amsterdam brand, creative director and frequent collaborator; now the man can add author to the list. F**K IVY AND EVERYTHING ELSE is McNasty at his most irreverent, offering wise and humorous takes on current trends as well as some of menswear’s icons like Cary Grant, Paul Newman and Steve McQueen. The title’s tongue-in-cheek reference to Teruyoshi Hayashida’s seminal photo-book Take Ivy, sums up McNairy’s stance: recognize and acknowledge the traditional, but subvert it whenever and wherever possible. The book is available now for pre-order on colette for $35 USD ahead of the books February 16 release.
