Dior Homme 2016 Summer "Stranger in a Room" Campaign Film Named After Jamie xx's Track

Dior Homme’s 2016 summer campaign and accompanying film, “Stranger in a Room,” is an intimate and piercing portrayal of personalities. Here, singer and lyricist Oliver Sim, actor Alain-Fabien Delon, artist Rinus Van de Velde and model Victor Nylander play versions of themselves in a longstanding collaborative project between the brand’s creative director, Kris Van Assche, and photographer Willy Vanderperre. Van Assche commented, “Occupying a contemporary, creative world, each character embraces qualities they are known for in their actual lives. These are the men we feel embody something of the spirit of Dior Homme today.” Jamie xx’s melodic post-dubstep track, featuring the vocals of fellow xx bandmate Oliver Sim, further invites us on this poignant journey into the brand’s spirit.
