We’re entering the second half of Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour and it seems like yesterday that he was announcing that this NBA season would be his last. Alongside his peers and legends of the game paying respect for the Black Mamba’s highly decorated career, Nike has been doing the same with numerous dedications to the man who once scored 81 points in a single game. Dubbed the “Eulogy” colorway, this Nike Kobe XI is dominated by a purple upper that sits on top of a clear sole. As its upper fades from purple to black from toe to heel, the back of the shoe demands attention as Nike places Bryant’s 8 and 24 jersey numbers on the right shoe along with red stripes on the left to symbolize Bryant’s return from an achilles. The “Eulogy” Nike Kobe XI will officially release on February 27 at select Nike retailers for $200 USD.
