According to a report from TMZ, the Run-D.M.C. brand has sued Walmart, Amazon, Jet.com and other retailers for trademark infringement. The infringing goods include glasses, hats, T-shirts, patches and wallets. The D.M.C. brand is asking for $50 million USD in damages, as well as “any other relief this Court deems just and equitable.” Run-D.M.C. apparently makes note of their logo’s worth in the suit as they have a $1.6 million USD contract with German sportswear giants adidas.
