Packer Shoes Unveils Its Camel-Inspired New Balance 999
The New Jersey spot helps another New Balance silhouette celebrate a milestone.

Back in March, Packer Shoes helped New Balance celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the MT580 with 500 pairs of a “Pine Barren” take on the rugged ’90s kicks. Now the New Jersey sneaker spot is helping NB celebrate a milestone for yet another runner, this time paying homage to 30 years of the 999 with a camel-inspired rendition of the design. Inspired by the popularity of camel hair in today’s fashions, the “CML” edition of the 999 is outfitted in nappy suede “for a look derived from the desert sands, but geared towards city streets.” Joining the suede is microperforated pigskin and supple brown leather while coral accents and reflective 3M provide some flair. Finally, contrasting hits of grey round out the look.
Limited quantities of the 999 “CML” drop this Saturday, December 10, at Packer for $150 USD.
