The Young Creatives Behind Nike 2016's Doernbecher's Collection Speak out on Its Design Process

Nike’s 2016 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection has been revealed and is slated for a launch this December, but there’s more to each individual silhouette than its exclusivity. The Doernbecher Freestyle Program dates back to 2003 and has been able to provide children with hope and happiness as they express their creativity throughout limited footwear and apparel. All on different paths, each young patient was able to explain the creative process behind their designs alongside family members who display appreciation for Nike’s continuous relationship with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
