The xx Head to a Tiny Texas Town for "On Hold" Video

‘I See You’ receives its first visual.

Earlier this month, award-winning act The xx announced a new studio album and introduced the effort with a single off the project. Titled “On Hold,” the track served as our first taste of what’s to come when I See You – The xx’s first official LP in five years — arrives on January 13, 2017. To further promote the aforementioned record, the group returns with a new visual for the lead single.

Today’s clip for “On Hold” was shot entirely in Marfa, Texas, the same small West Texas city that played host to many of the I See You recording sessions. The clip comes to us courtesy of director Alasdair McLellan, and features appearances from all three of the acclaimed act’s bandmates.
