Herman Miller has finally made its imprint stateside with a new flagship in New York City. The global furnishing stalwart’s first North American retail store boasts an impressive 6,000 square-feet and is decked out to the design nines with eclectic furniture, workspaces lighting and accessories that are not only developed by HM, “but also by independent designers and sourced from the Chicago auction house Wright,” Fast Company reports. Consumers will immediately be enamored by an enfilade of completely furnished spaces spanning bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms and more.
All in all, the goal of this fresh brick-and-mortar is to broaden consumer interaction — to tap “unrivaled multi-channel capabilities” in order to transform customers into fans, said Chief Executive Officer Brian Walker. Peruse the photos above and find the store address below.
