Porter & Medicom Toy Unveil a Tanker-Inspired Super-Alloy Bearbrick

Taking cues from the Japanese bag specialist’s most popular series.

Porter and Medicom Toy have had a strong collaborative relationship over the years, teaming up on countless occasions to drop special co-branded renditions of the beloved Bearbrick. Now, after releasing a 1000% figure earlier this year, the two are back with another ursine figurine before year’s end. Offering up a look similar to that of its predecessors, the this particular Porter Bearbrick features heavyweight Super-Alloy construction and ditches the matte black color scheme of the aforementioned drop in favor of a glossy finish. Taking cues from Porter’s infinitely popular Tanker series, the design also sees its Porter logo done up in military-inspired high-visibility orange — a hue that’s also applied to the underside of the feet, torso and each limb for good measure.

The 145mm-tall Super-Alloy “Tanker” Bearbrick drops this Saturday, November 19, at select Porter spots for ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $99 USD).
