BoardUp Has Created the World's First Self-Folding Longboard

If you prefer to ride a longboard, we’re sure you’ve found that the sheer length of it an issue in everyday life – whether it’s having it poking out of the back of your backpack or one of the issues displayed in the video above. BoardUp decided to do something about it, creating the world’s first patent pending self-folding longboard. Its launch follows a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised $27,231 USD, going far over its original $15,000 USD goal. The product will soon be shipping out to those who pledged, with a wider release to follow soon after the initial rollout.
