Hodgy to Release Debut Album 'Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide,' Shares First Video Single "Barbell"

[gallery columns="3"][gallery columns="3"]MellowHype rapper Hodgy has announced plans to release his debut solo album, Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide. Along with the announcement, the Odd Future emcee also shares a video for his Jonti-produced new single, “Barbell.” In a press release, the debut album is said to be a compilation of songs that come from a “worldlier perspective” from Hodgy. The album will also boast 13 tracks, with notable guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Salomon Faye, as well as production from BadBadNotGood, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Knxwledge, 88-Keys Nottz, Rahki, Jonti and more. With the announcement of Fireplace, Hodgy also wanted to share the following words with fans:

Trade the past for a never ending story.
Trade the end for a new beginning.
Trade hatred for a better understanding.
Trade slavery for freedom.
Trade anger for artistic expression.
Trade like for eternal love.
