YOOX Net-a-Porter Group Plans to Open a New State-of-the-Art Technology Hub

The e-commerce giant eyes up further growth in London.

Spreading its wings from its West London headquarters, luxury e-tailer YOOX Net-a-Porter unveiled plans to expand with a new site in nearby White City. The increased space will house a projected 20-percent growth in the firm’s global technology team, which is currently split between London and Bologna, and signals its intent to the rest of the fashion industry with an increased focus on research, development and mobile technology. British architecture firm, Grimshaw, is creating the 70,000-sq-ft space, complete with adaptive workspaces to foster collaborative ways of working, as YOOX Net-a-Porter bids to maintain and build on its position in a fiercely competitive e-commerce market.
