Yohji Yamamoto and adidas’s budding Y-3 SPORT line recently unveiled their collection for 2016 fall/winter. This latest assemblage predominately offers core-black garments, footwear and accessories for those highly invested in a wide range of performance sports. As we’re knee-deep in fall and with winter coming around the corner, the sportswear brand is also touting pieces that are equipped with thermo-insulation, soft two-layer bonded wools, merino knits and down insulation to suitably combat the cold weather.
Standout pieces from the collection include the Airflow Jacket that boasts adizero fabric and an advanced water-repellent system, the Waterproof Parka that features detachable sleeve cuffs and a mouth cover piece with ventilating perforation, and lastly, the winter-appropriate Approach Reflect shoe that is fitted with a sock-like upper, soft shell overlays as well as BOOST technology for unrivaled comfort.
