Gucci's "4 Rooms" Project Blends Fashion With Immersive Art

The luxury giant puts on a future-forward digital showcase.

Setting up shop on the seventh floor of Gucci’s Ginza outpost and Dover Street Market Ginza’s Elephant Room, the Gucci “4 Rooms” project merges fashion, art and gaming in an immersive consumer experience that features the input of artists Daito Manabe, Chiharu Shiota, Mr. and Trouble Andrew aka GucciGhost. Each created both virtual and real worlds that tie in key themes and patterns to showcase key pieces from the 2016 fall/winter collection, aided by bold visuals and an interactive game that unlocks GucciGhost’s secret room. Free to the public, the exhibition runs until November 27 (or October 24 at Dover Street Market Ginza) while you can also view the artists’ works online at the Gucci microsite.
