Midnight Studios Releases Editorial Featuring A$AP Nast, Playboi Carti & Ganna Bogdan
Inspired by the music scene of Manchester in the late ’80s.
Designer Shane Gonzales and MIDNIGHT STUDIOS have released a new editorial featuring A$AP Nast, Playboi Carti and Ganna Bogdan. Shot by both Gonzales and A$AP Nast, this new photo set highlights the label’s continuing cult aesthetic found in the label’s Fall/Winter 2016 “ADORED” collection. The latest range, according to Gonzales, is inspired by the music scene of Manchester in the late ’80s when punk mingled with alternative rock, psychedelic rock and dance electro. “I Wanna Be Adored” and “She Bangs the Drums” by the Stone Roses is referenced throughout the collection, displaying Shane Gonzales’s penchant for drawing from music with cult followings.
