Peter Dundas Is No Longer With Roberto Cavalli
After just one year.

After being headhunted to reinvent Roberto Cavalli‘s rock-chic legacy for the 21st-century, Norwegian designer Peter Dundas has been let go from his creative director position at the fashion house. Dundas described the move to Cavalli as a “homecoming,” having previously worked under Roberto in the early ’00s. Many thought that a strong relationship between Dundas and the brand was to be established, but with the sale of the label last year things have not turned out as expected. The new owners of Roberto Cavalli have decided to release Dundas from his position, wishing to move in a new more commercial direction. After reinvigorating Roberto Cavalli and the Milanese fashion scene in a short span and holding positions at various fashion houses, Peter Dundas is sure to move on to other things. Stay tuned for new information as it becomes available.
