Grey Poupon, the fancy mustard, has been so ubiquitous in rap music since the late ’90s it’s been heard in Ghostface Killah’s “Fish” to Kanye West’s “Facts.” Due in part of the famous question – which has embedded itself into the American lexicon – “Excuse me, do you have any Grey Poupon?” and it’s easy to rhyme with status, the white wine-based Dijon mustard has been referenced in over 118 songs to this day.
