There’s been a great deal of speculation about the new Bond, but according to recent news Daniel Craig might return after all. In a Timeout interview during the Spectre tour, he did state some disappointment about some parts of the Bond job, saying he found the looks obsessed part of James Bond “a drag.” He continued, “The best acting is when you’re not concerned about the surface. And Bond is the opposite of that.” Then there was the infamous time when Craig said he’d “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than play Bond again. More recently however, he seems to have come round, telling Vulture that, “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve got the best job in the world. I’ll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it.” There’s also been additional reports revealing he’s been offered $150 million USD for two more films, a sum that appears to have got his attention. There’s no word yet on if he’s officially accepted the offer, but given the sheer amount of money it wouldn’t be a surprise if he agreed to come back.
