Virgil Abloh & Ronnie Fieg Are Cooking Something Up

January has been a busy month for Virgil Abloh. After offering some advice to aspiring designers via The Coveteur, the creative polymath unveiled his Fall/Winter 2016 menswear and Pre-Fall 2016 women’s collections. Now, fresh off the release of his collab with Golden Goose Deluxe Brand at colette, Abloh has yet another pair of limited edition kicks on the way. His partner this time around? None other than Ronnie Fieg.
Teased via Fieg himself on Instagram, the kicks look like they’ll come in the form of a co-branded boot — complete with a colorway reminiscent of his popular “Rose Gold” motif. The color combo most closely resembles 2012’s GT-II, but flips it on its head for a predominately grey look with rosy accents on the likes of the lacing and pull tabs.
