As a viable member of Los Angeles-based entertainment house PhotoGenics Media, Ashley Graves is a rising talent stationed in the City of Angels. We caught up with model Ashley Graves for our latest #hypebae installation to learn more about the blonde belle and her unique style. As a fitness fanatic who spent a good 10 years dancing, Ashley’s photogenic persona is effortlessly translated through a vast portfolio of shoots with reputable photographers and publicists alike — a more personal mix of work and pleasure can be found on the model’s Instagram. What is your sneaker of choice?
I like all-white sneakers, but specifically Jordan retros.
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
If I could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, I would definitely have dinner with Tupac! I just want to know what actually happened – where did he go? The curiosity is killing me.
Would you say you’re more of a morning or night person?
I’m a night person for sure. I don’t know why, but when it gets dark I am suddenly filled with energy. I can stay up for so long.
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is any and all kinds of junk food – fast food, candy, chocolate, donuts… give it to me! I’m a fat kid at heart.
What was your favorite class in school?
My favorite class was physics actually. That class tripped me out. I learned so many things about space, time, and the universe. Aliens definitely exist by the way!
Tell us about your favorite way to get exercise?
Dancing! I was a cheerleader and hip-hop dancer for 10 years and I just love music. For example, I can blast some hip-hop or trap, dance for an hour until I’m dripping in sweat and there’s my workout.
Do you collect anything?
I don’t collect anything at the moment… although I think I had a crystal collection when I was 6 years old, but that’s about it.
If you could choose any super power, what would it be?
I would definitely choose to fly. I dream about it all the time and it would be so nice if I could just fly over LA’s traffic.
