Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe 50th Anniversary
A special commemorative build celebrating a triumph of American engineering.

The Shelby American Daytona Cobra is distinguished as representing the very first American build to win an international title with the FIA World Car Championships in 1965 – on July 4, no less. The legendary American carmaker here revisits the model on the 50th anniversary of that milestone victory, executing just 50 limited editions of the car. The release marks the first time that Shelby has offered an aluminum version of the make, making modern safety improvements on the world-class racer while maintaining its initial quality. As such, the car faithfully features old-school details like leaf-spring suspension, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, 15-inch white wheels and a black leather interior. Commemorative badges at the tip of the hood cement this release in history, which is available to peruse on Shelby’s website now.
