Inside Aesop's New Berlin Flagship
Aesop opens its second door in the German capital.
Having already established itself in cultural capitals like New York, Tokyo, London and Los Angeles, Australian cosmetics brand Aesop continues to expand its influence by planting a second store in Berlin. The new Aesop retail space marks the brand’s third in Germany, with one store in Frankfurt and another already on Berlin’s central borough. This Fasanenstraße-based door was designed in conjunct with Norwegian design firm Snøhetta and thematically combines Aesop’s aesthetic language with the context of the area itself. Accordingly, the interior is supported by nine interior oak pillars and detailed with brass handles and glass throughout.
