Converse revisits its relationship with Italian fashion house Missoni, taking to two silhouettes for the release. As Missoni’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection drew influences from surfing culture on the coastlines of Southern Europe and Africa, Converse outfitted both the Chuck Taylor All Star 70 and the Deck Star slip-on (a clever choice) with a summer-ready motif from the range. Both silhouettes are outfitted with a luxurious white knit jacquard upper, which is woven with a mix of cotton, rayon and flax throughout for an opulent, cozy feel. At the interior, both shoes are lined with terracotta canvas at the sockliner. Both sneakers will be available beginning July 17 from Converse outposts in New York and San Francisco, as well as select First String retailers such as Amsterdam’s 290sqm, for $200 USD.
