The Code - Electronica

This past Saturday, Soulection premiered The Code‘s new single “Electronica” on their Beats 1 radio show. The track is off the UK artist-producer duo’s forthcoming mixtape. The Code shared that they had titled the track as “Electronica” because the referenced genre encompasses “a wide range of contemporary electronic music designed for a wide range of uses” such as “forground listening,” “some forms of dancing,” and for “background music.” Because this progressive song fulfills all of the said purposes, its name was chosen to illustrate the concept.
